Read all guest storiesA cozy and convenient place to stay at Bodega Bay. The view was fantastic… it felt like being on a boat, with water all around. This morning we saw 3 beautiful Pelicans crossing right below! Very quiet, even though it was on Hwy 1.
The view and location can’t be beat! The place is well maintained. Watching the seals swim by in the morning was a treat. Very clear instructions are provided regarding arrival, the steep and narrow driveway, and parking.
The place was stunning with amazing views. A wonderful spot for our honeymoon fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Will be returning!
Coastal adventures

Long flats of soft sand at low tide. Watch sanderlings sprint after waves and turn over a stone to find an anemone or a sleeping crab.

Launch right from our beach into protected bay water. The seals will check you out. The harbor doesn't get tired of being beautiful.

Cast off the shore, drop a crab pot from the dock, or charter out past Bodega Head. Dungeness season is the one to plan around.

Bodega Head, Doran Beach, Pinnacle Gulch — coastal cliffs and migrating gray whales from December through May.

Bodega Bay's Edge is a waterfront property along Highway 1 in Bodega Bay, California on the Sonoma Coast — about 1.5 hours north of San Francisco. Exact directions are shared with guests after booking.
There are three private stays: Bodega Bayfront Beach (Unit 1, sleeps 6), Waters of Bodega Bay (Unit 2 upstairs, sleeps 4), and Romance at Bay's Edge (studio, sleeps 2). You can book one unit online, or contact Krista or Steve directly to reserve the entire house for a reunion or group stay.
The drive from San Francisco is about 1.5 hours via Highway 1 along the Sonoma Coast.
Pets are welcome at Bodega Bayfront Beach (Unit 1) and Romance at Bay's Edge (studio). Waters of Bodega Bay (Unit 2) is an adults-only upstairs retreat and does not allow pets.
